#AutonEnviro If you want to see platooning in action , just watch the youtube video at the intro to this chat. It talks about doing away with lanes and traffic lights because the cars can communicate with each other better. Almost like our blood stream.

#AutonEnviro Everyone after the chat should look into AV traffic platooning. It is a situation where the AV's talk to each other and travel down the road as own object. thus reducing the stop n go problems.
#AutonEnviro LIsa, but if you own the car, There would not be an uber cost. Yes insurance and the purchase, but they would have the freedom to do anything. Imagine just sending your car to pick up the online groceries from Walmart and bring them home at no charge

#AutonEnviro Lisa, i was referring to the fact that people tend to be easily distracted causing more accidents than a computers with sensors that are ALWAYS paying attention to its surroundings
#AutonEnviro I believe that the fact there are less accidents would affect how many cars have to be made each year. This would reduce the use of resources to build those cars. along with the saved resources used by the medical field to help the injured.

#AutonEnviro Yes mom, I agree. How many times in our lives have we had to leave work or make special plans to pick someone up? It would help greatly. I would hope they put in security measures for underage riders.
