YOU are going to make a piece of generative art right now in 10 minutes. No watching tutorials, no downloading software. Just your browser and 21 lines of code. By the end you’ll have a basic, but fun abstract generative art collection like this. #generativeart

Do you want a quick way to find and open your documents directory? Add this line to .onAppear in your app entry Point. print("Documents Directory", URL.documentsDirectory.path) Puts the path on a separate line and easy to copy and right click to open service.

The fact is that so many of the rules coders follow are just dogma with no proof of anything. But the simple thing is that adding friction to read simple code is just bad, no matter how hard the industry tries to convince you otherwise 😂

The hardest part of having new folks join the team is removing the bad habits the industry has put on them. small functions for the sake of it? no, inline the code. too many classes, portocols...? no, simplify it. constants for a number that is used in 1 place? no inline it ❤️

Herald Sun staff have written a scathing piece slamming Melburnians for working from home, hysterically claiming the practice has turned Melbourne into a “ghost town” — however, the article was likely written at home, as Herald Sun staff also work from home. #auspol

I think it is important to show progress when coding, particularly the failures. To get the previous image I tweeted, I had to go through quite a bit of bug fixing and some rewriting. #RayMarching

Got my iOS Ray Marching Shader (MSL) working late last night. So far only spheres and diffuse lighting, lots more to come. Not quite sure why the horizon rises up to meet the orange sphere though🤔 Is using a SwiftUI wrapper to display #RayMarching #SwiftUI
