So about this, I decided to do a more detailed explanation. The sun itself does not provide vitamin D. Rather, our skin produces vitamin D₃ (cholecalciferol) when it is exposed to ultraviolet B (UVB) rays from sunlight.
💡 Did you know? 🌞Vitamin D does not come from the sun, it comes from our skin. Sunlight is only needed to convert a type of cholesterol in our skin to Vitamin D3. I will explain into details in my next post. Stay tuned. 😉
