Straight leg raise or Lasegue’s test is a simple bedside test for sciatica (L4–S1 nerve compression from a herniated disc). Worsening pain on dorsiflexion of the foot is known as Bragard’s sign and helps to increase test accuracy. 📸: nejm.org/doi/full/10.10
