Trust me in that every single one of us dealing with covid in any way would far rather be concentrating on anything else right now. But wishing it away doesn’t make a pandemic virus go away. We really are so far down the rabbit hole now

I think the wishful thinking was: 1. Case numbers in student population not shooting up. 2. The subsequent seeding of infection in the older age groups would not happen.

I’m pleased #LongCovid is now a known thing. Media interested. Politicians acknowledging it. Healthcare less dismissive. I still can’t rest my case though bec we still need to properly measure it. It's the legacy of the virus. Without quantifying it every response is compromised.
