As the #Iditarod red lantern was extinguished early this morning, so to has the 2024 #igivearod campaign come to a close. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $30,398 with $15,607 of that raised for rural schools around Alaska. And beautiful hats knitted! You ROCK! #uglydogs

Don’t forget! We keep going until all the mushers are safely into Nome and the red lantern has been extinguished! So there’s still time to donate to great causes! 🩷
As we’re awaiting the safe arrival of Anna Berington into Nome, carrying the ashes of @mrlent down the trail, you all have raised over $1,000 in Daniel Lent’s honor for the August Foundation to support veterinary care and homes for retiring sled dogs
Woohoo!! @RICSAR401 teammate @xperiement made SEVEN hats for @igivearod! Every one of these beautiful knit hats will go to a child in rural/remote Alaska and surrounding communities. How freaking cool is that? 👏🏻👏🏻
#iknitarod 2024: Dallas Seavey completed the 975 mile Iditarod route in 9d 2h 16m 8s to win. During that time, I completed six hats for @SkikuAk as part of @igivearod. I’m hoping to finish one more before the red lantern. #knit #knitting #handmade
