Claude 4.5 is a good model, but it still struggles with UI. I’ll use it, but I prefer gpt5 codex medium.
At some point someone is gonna have to explain to us, why devs have such a different experience with these models. It’s not a promoting issue. How can gpt5 high be better at refactoring, than gpt 5 codex medium and high, a model that was made for refactoring tasks?
So far my experience with gpt 5 codex medium and high, has been horrible. Gave it 3 refactoring tasks and it failed them all. I had a much better experience with gpt5 high It was so bad that I had to git reset, it was adding files and folders all over the place. @OpenAI

I can’t believe I have to be the one saying this: An IDE for software development is better than a command line interface. We fought this war and won it a long time ago. Why is now every model provider releasing a CLI for AI coding? What’s this madness about?
