Today in our Committee meeting on Indigenous & Northern Affairs I tabled a motion to host an emergency meeting with officials this week, to discuss the tragic discovery of 215 children buried at the site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School. It was adopted unanimously.

60 years ago today, the first episode of #coronoationstreet aired. My Grandpa, Harry Elton, dreamed up the show with writer Tony Warren, and he was the first Executive Producer. A pretty remarkable legacy as the show continues to air and means a lot to millions of people.
