You speak to a foreign client & charge him $20 per hour. Discuss a contract of 500 hours & after seeing your portfolio, said client is raring to go. Just out of curiosity or small talk, the "where are you from" question lands & you feel your chest tighten. You know it's gone.
The amount of life changing jobs lost simply because of this obscene nationally accepted way of life is shocking. Mentioning "Nigeria" is like etching the evil letter on your forehead like that novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne. That gig is as good as gone. Just like that bro.
