Hi World! We are a @EU_Commission project funded by RFCS driving the transition to a carbon-neutral future! 🌍 DISTINCTION supports coal tar distillers in moving toward high-value activities in energy storage, building European value chains for next-gen Na-ion batteries.
Our colleague Mario Sánchez is presenting in Tarragona the great versatility of carbon-based aerogels in the multiple detection of analytes such as glucose, acetaminophen and certain amino acids, within the framework of the 5th European Biosensor Symposium (EBS).
Álvaro Amado Fierro defiende hoy su tesis doctoral titulada Valorización sostenible de residuos biomásicos por carbonización hidrotermal en un escenario de economía circular
Our colleague Ana Arenillas has shown today, in the Plenary talk at 17thGEC Meeting, the versatility of C-science and the fundamental role of C-materials in the technological development we need for a transition to clean and sustainable energy that society and the planet demand.
Judith González and Mario Suárez also presented 2 posters today at 17th GEC Meeting, with latest results of the innovative materials developed in their PhDs: C-Fe-Ni aerogels for bifunctional electrocatalysts and C-material for the effective detection of paracetamol in sweat.
Today, Ignacio Cameán presented two posters at the 17thGEC, highlighting the importance of structural and textural optimization of carbon gels to improve their performance as anode materials for sodium-ion batteries, a promising strategy for advancing energy storage technologies.
Today at the 17th GEC Meeting, David García presented part of the research developed in his PhD. He showed carbon spheres synthesized from sustainable precursors via a microwave-assisted sol-gel methodology, and their use as anodic materials in sodium-ion batteries.
Elisa Martínez has closed MATENERCAT participation in the 17th GEC Meeting today with her presentation on the effect of the operating conditions of C-microspheres synthesis on controlling their physicochemical properties: size, porosity, structure and chemical composition.
@CompositesINCAR @incarCSIC members presenting at the XVII Reunión del Grupo Español del Carbón in Zaragoza. We explored areas in which carbon is key, from characterisation of carbon supported catalysts, electrochemical sensors, printed electrodes and biomass valorization.👏👏
