What is the reason for the 18+ warning appearing on Turkish products in Tesco stores in the UK, and has Tesco provided any update on their investigation into the issue, as promised? @Tesco
Although they may appear similar initially, these products have different ingredients. The spreadable Lurpak contains 52% butter and 26% rapeseed oil, while the other Lurpak product contains 80% butter. Both products are vegetarian and priced almost the same! @Lurpak
Plant-Based Ghee with Halal and Vegan claims, contains margarine made with palm oil and rapeseed oil. The product also includes ghee flavoring and beta-carotene as a coloring agent. Additionally, it contains E900, which is an anti-foaming agent called Dimethylpolysiloxane.
These red-colored candies contain E129, also known as Allura Red. Allura Red may have a detrimental effect on children's attention. While this warning is present on the product label, the full name of this unhealthy coloring agent is not disclosed to the consumer. @SlushPuppieUK
The sushi products sold at Sainsbury's supermarkets with the "Veggie" logo and the statement "Suitable for vegetarians" contain alcohol. Although the alcohol is derived from vinegar, there is no additional warning on the product label regarding this. @sainsburys
