This #FlashbackFriday sign was originally put up before the hanging cigarette gallows sign. The Department of Highways was objected to the word "hell" on a sign that everyone drove past, so they ended up taking this one down.

#FBF Who remembers this sign? It was put up in 1950 after a wildfire destroyed 2,396 hectares of forest in the park. Remember to be fire safe, and only smoke in designated areas of the park.
