It doesn’t matter how much you work out, how many vitamins you take, how much sun you get, what kind of food you eat, YOU CAN BECOME DISABLED. Immunity to disability doesn’t exist. It’s the only minority group you can join at any point in time.

This looks like a tool that could be incorporated into asl interpreter training. Would be great if this program had an accessibility feature for working with communication access workers like interpreters and captioners.

Interpreters, take note-
tl;dr version of this presentation is - every act of heroism mask the structural and systemic deficiency. By saving something in the short run you are heading into bigger trouble later on. Advice was: let if fail. If nothing else, at least it will lead to a better system.
