Whether a #deaf person wears a hearing device, signs, can’t sign, communicates however they want to, it still means that they’re deaf. End of. It’s sad to see even in 2022 that old stigmas and stereotypes come into play. Leave people to live their lives however best suits them!
Having to work from my nan's today and I'm being supplied with endless cups of tea and a cooked lunch - I feel spoilt! Maybe I need to consider working here more often 😂

So the government want to provide Latin lessons (a language no longer largely used) but they won't provide sign language lessons in mainstream schools - yet many people use this to communicate in our society! How does this make any sense?!
Maybe celebrities who have got hold of tickets to the Euro final might consider gifting it to someone who genuinely deserved it - someone who doesn’t have connections, someone who can’t afford it - just a thought

It's nearly the end of half term, with many year 11's already having finished. Please check with your schools if they are taking any used uniform. Covid has hit many families hard and donating some outgrown uniform could go a long way for those struggling.

We mark Deaf Awareness Week by starting the show with some sign language. Across all of the daytime shows, we are raising awareness of deafness and hearing loss which affects 1 in 6 adults in the UK.

There's a lot of social media posts mentioning getting in shape for 21 June. I get it, lockdown hasn't exactly provided the environment for healthy eating habits but please be kind to yourself and others. We've been through a lot! Just be thankful that we can see loved ones again
My little sister said to me "you are like Barbie, you can do anything" because I helped her with some maths work. Oh to be young and so innocent!! To be fair it's a miracle I understood the maths 😂
