To have to work the long hours required as a student plus the side jobs just to stay afloat.. not to mention no longer having a bursary and owing back more money.
The truth is our #nhs cannot cope with the current state it is in, there’s too many people Using it for the current budget allowance. We need staff but who wants to come into an employer who expects so much and gives so little as thanks. #Nurse
We don’t go into nursing because it’s easy it’s FAR from it, we do it because we care and want to help. The pay doesn’t reflect the hard work even though ‘we earn a lot more than the average person’ #Nurse
Why are the ‘bottom line’ staff suffering the most alongside patients because there’s no staff/funding/availability. Where’s our help to do the amazing job we do! We sacrifice a lot with little in return #Nurse
When you get disciplined for being sick but your working day is filled with a lot of stuff in not enough time and your not sleeping properly because of stress and fear of letting everybody down. You look after your patients more than yourself. #Nurse
The fact that we feel bad for having to say no due to pressures and trying to maintain a personal life isn’t fair. Why are we then the bad guys when all we want to do is help & treat people #nqn #Nurse
The fact that either due to time constraints or pure laziness paperwork isn’t being kept up to date means an extra 10+mins an appointment is used so the basic care can be given. #nqn #Nurse
I absolute love my job I really enjoy what I do BUT the exhaustion and burnout is real! The fact we are so short staffed really puts it’s toll on everybody, running behind with patients and having to do not only my job but everybody else’s is tiring #Nurse

As a friend I am heartbroken at the news I had yesterday, as a nurse I am frustrated and angry. That a patient who went to get help was so wrongly treated and paid the ultimate price... His Life!
