I can’t see the superstars of today getting that dirty, so it’s more truthful to say players of today wouldn’t be able to play in that era. Imagine the anguish on Neymar’s face after getting a tap in all that mud. He wants to roll around but the kit man Is watching him.. 😉

Totally imagine players nowadays walking out 1hr 30mins before KO and see that pitch 😂

Imagine the likes of Tony Currie and Stanley Bowles on today’s pitches. Would be better than anyone playing the game in current times.

And people have the nerve to ask if players of that era could play now!!

When football was no-nonsense.. West Ham vs. Man City ⚽️

🙏👍

Me too. I have a retro kit from that era with 'Roberts 9' on it. Proudly wear it. I've actually got anreal 'Anselin 7' one from the time up in the loft somewhere.

🙏🙏

You can't beat a trip down Memory Lane. The first game I ever went to was our 4-2 win vs QPR in August '98 so I'll always think fondly of the 1998/99 season. The legendary @iwanwroberts was my first #NCFC hero. I absolutely love the man.

Very true to be fair. Im going to watch some late 90's early 00's season reviews to see @iwanwroberts, our greatest ever player, banging them in to remember better times.

Very true

Just think too, that picture of protests, the manager in question had WAY more credit in the bank than Manning does.

1996: Martin O’Neill finds out that Ipswich and Millwall finished goalless, meaning City’s final day win at Watford was enough to secure a place in the play-offs. “Yuh beauty”

Delighted for Luke Williams getting back into management @theposh proper grafter to be fair to him, didn’t work out for him at Swansea hope he does well at Posh.

What a man,absolute legend

Ok mate you sound like you watch more games at CR than you do PR but who am I to argue with the ITFC-Lord 😂

Keep being deluded. We can see Carrow Road and the real facts on telly. You would have sold out Swansea away under Farke.....where is your fans' loyalty? There is none. Casual, plastic fanbase that will keep disappearing.
