This virus is scary, especially for #OlderAdults. The biggest policy failure has been the failure to include #geriatrics experts on the #COVIDー19 task force panels like @wassdoc @DavidCGrabowski and so many others.

The geriatric Oncological evaluation is a must in the care of any elderly person with malignancy. At the same time #age alone should not be a criteria to exclude patients from #clinicaltrials or #oncologytherapies #gerionc
#RBG was diagnosed at 76 years and died at 87. A reminder to all of us that older patients are the ones mostly affected by #PancreaticCancer . We need to do better to support #GeriOnc patients, either with clinical trials or with everyday practice. #GeriatricizeYourOncology
