It was a beautiful evening in Victoria BC for two events honouring those who've served Canada for over 100 years: Remembrance Illuminated at Christ Church Cathedral and a candlelight vigil at the Cenotaph. #LestWeForget. More: militaryandfamilyhistory.blog/2019/11/10/rem…

Yesterday, in the presence of family, First World War soldier Private George Alfred Newburn was finally laid to rest in France by the British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught’s Own).
