This is fascinating! Like many of us, I grew up with Dijkstra’s algorithm in undergrad. It was one of the key reasons I stayed super engaged with CS.
For the past four decades, finding the fastest route to every destination in a network involved sorting the routes by distance. This meant that algorithms could only work as quickly as they could sort. No longer. quantamagazine.org/new-method-is-…

While others discuss EOF, here is another REAL problem that Ethereum needs to tackle: Blob Market. @liobaheimbach & @jasonmilionis dropped a banger paper on Blob Market and its problems. TLDR: Blob packing is inefficient & blob fee market is broken arxiv.org/pdf/2502.12966 👇
