Wycombe in dire need of steel and leaders through out the spine of the team. No point players moaning to their nearest team mate or cheerleading in the middle as the game passes them by. All that talk in the changing room counts for nothing if it doesn’t happen on the pitch.
The late salvage job papers over the cracks. We can’t keep going 2-0 down and expect to get anywhere apart from a return to League 2. Team dynamics are as poor as I’ve seen at Wycombe. Technically good individuals but lacking key fundamentals of even a decent team. Money wasted.
Duffs had a whole week with the team and we’ve come out no better than a Dodds team. It’s clear the recruitment over 2 windows has been incredibly poor. I see several players like Harvie losing their minds in game at the state of play. Relegation is very likely this season.
Just don’t understand the protecting of a 1-0 lead by inviting pressure for 30 mins. It’s like a self fulfilling prophecy against a strong team like Arsenal. Newcastle lacking attacking pressure this season. Can’t all be down to losing Isak.

Now we are 10 games into the season, I still think survival is the name of the game for Wycombe. We have 36 games to get 43 points, hopefully stabilise as a club after all the changes. Go again from a better base next season.
We only have ourselves to blame for losing that one. You can’t give the opposition a whole first half for free then spend the 2nd half trying to make up for it. Ref did us no favours, suggest he reminds himself of the rules. Wasn’t a head injury, no obligation to stop play.
Wycombe have been outrageously poor. Grimmer and Taylor have been a huge vulnerability. Midfield and forward players have contributed very little. Poor day all round.
