Using physics? Keep things in Layers and edit your Layer collision matrix. It will not only give you better performance (less collisions = less calculations) but it'll prevent subtle physics and gameplay bugs from unwanted collisions. #UnityTips #unity3d

This also saves memory on 3D meshes as well. If you are not using mesh collision on the model, uncheck this box!
