Thanks @MsSeidenberg! Have a great week everyone! #NRfunchat

A5: I like using technology in the classroom for the endless answers it provides! When students have a question about a topic we are learning about and I don’t know the answer to it, all we have to do is google and the possibilities are endless. #NRfunchat

A4: I just learned about google read and write through the google workshop w @ed_maltbie I’m hoping to incorporate it in my reading groups #nrfunchat

A3: Technology to me can be exciting, but very overwhelming. I want to try new things, but it takes a while for me to master technology. #NRfunchat

A2: the children can be set uo@with different levels of books/assignments and this will also build confidence because not all of the children will know what the rest of the students are doing. It doesn’t matter if one is a little less difficult than someone else’s #NRfunchat

A1: As the reading teacher, I use the computer to introduce a new topic or get background knowledge on a particular subject. We use it a lot for nonfiction topics. #NRfunchat

Hi! I’m Julie, a reading teacher at West Haverstraw Elementary. #NRfunchat

Thanks @kinder_krys! Loved seeing your kiddies! #NRfunchat

Q5: I have the same boots in black and brown and in a rush in the morning I wore one of each. I didn’t notice until mine of my students pointed it out to me. Now I always check my feet before I leave for school :) #NRfunchat

Q4: I saved mine before the children noticed! We were doing word families and I came up with one that was inappropriate, but quickly said that is a “nonsense” word and don’t think they picked up on it...at least I hope not 😂 #NRfunchat

Q3: when I taught kindergarten I used to absolutely love reading their invented spelling. They try so hard, but it was the cutest thing to see what they wrote. I never laughed, but always got such a kick out of it :) plus the fact that I could read it!

Q2: I love when kids have no filter and just share things that go on in their house. It’s hysterical and makes me realize that I shouldn’t talk so freely with my own kids 😂 #NRfunchat

Q1: I was actually very shy and always nervous to talk in front of people. I never would raise my hand even if I knew the answer. I think I’d like a student like me, only if she would come out of her shell more 😊#NRFunChat

Hi! Happy to join in! Julie from New York #NRFunChat

Q2: Teachers and administrators may run into obstacles when difficult decisions need to be made. When both teachers and administrators know that these decisions are made for the well being of the students that’s when they need to have trust in each other. #hacklearning

Q1: Teachers and administrators need to have trust in each other so we know that we both have each other’s “back.” All of us have areas we need to improve. We need to communicate in ways that builds on respect and seeks progress, not perfection.#hacklearning @KFelicello
