As a coach there are moments that bring the emotion out, reminding us why we do what we do. You always remember the joy of a player’s first, no matter what it is - and you never forget the heartbreak of the last. The game that takes so much from us, but gives us everything.

Having coached tennis for many years and a little hockey . I was always the coach that lost himself in winning and missing the big picture. This young coach built a great team culture , grew the program and taught this old man you’re missing the point.
