Really proud of this one. ❤️ If we want pros to stop leaving the classroom, let’s treat them like… pros. @ELmagazine

I think it says quite a bit about the education system that when test scores go up, it tends to benefit adults more than students. Way more.
In late on the @DraymondShow, Draymond & Baron Davis spoke about the sports personality who said players were scared to play in Memphis. Draymond was preaching at the end. And he defended Memphis better than some people who lives here.
Enjoy the show. The Make Them Watch Tour featuring @jamorant. Coming soon.

Bill Simmons felt safe in Memphis: ‘I power walked everywhere’ ow.ly/vPhz106caFL
"I think all that is just false ... Once you get to Memphis and you learn Memphis and you know Memphis, there's a lot of love in that city." -- Desmond Bane on comments about players feeling unsafe in Memphis 🚨 NEW YM3 DROPS TOMORROW 🚨
It's dismissive of the hard work people put in every single day to build up this city - especially those who have had to start ten steps behind or without the same access to resources. At a point it's not worth trying to explain how special this city is to some people..
Basketball aside, making comments about a city's hardship so casually-especially when those hardships often stem from systemic injustice and racial oppression - is gross and ignorant. Just shows how narrow some people’s perspectives are when they talk about issues like that
This is such an inappropriate and gross thing to say & has detrimental ripple effects on a city that is constantly fighting against perception. Memphis is a beautiful place. Like many cities it has crime - but it should not be defined by that. I’ll never stop fighting for it.
Stephen A. Smith says NBA players have told him they would feel unsafe playing in a city like Memphis "Cats like Jimmy Butler and others don’t feel like it’s the safest environment. I’m talking to the local authorities in Memphis" (h/t @awfulannouncing)

You can not name 40 guys better than that guy
Ja Morant is overrated by Grizzlies fans. Subpar from 3. Inconsistent defense. This year got to the rim a career-low % of the time. Rarely healthy. Hasn’t played in 75% of games in a year since 2021. Morant is somewhere around the NBA’s 40th to 50th best player. Good, not great.
Ja Morant was the best player on the floor before he got hurt now you got a bunch of weirdos about to act like the Thunder just walked the Grizzlies down at full strength lol
That's a crusher for Memphis. So demoralizing to lose Ja mid-game against *that* defense, and watch the lead (and your season, what was left of it) trickle away. Brutal. Obviously great fight from the Thunder (insane Caruso defense, Chet shot-making), but that one hurts for MEM
