This gif is the perfect example how they don't care about Superman. They are willing to depict him like this just to insult other fans. They hate Superman, he is an entertaining clown to them. They sure as hell can't and won't take the character seriously.
Fun fact: I don't really like Brie, but I'm totally fine with her voicing Rosalina. Pretty much all the so-called "haters" of Brie seem to be totally fine with this casting.

I can't believe this song is actually in this scene. If you told me a year ago people would try and associate Superman with Punk Rock, I'd laugh them out of the room. Awful.
this scene is so beautiful and full of emotion and the song fits perfectly. superman (2025) truly has one of the best endings in a superhero movie

Some of those (obviously) improvised scenes ran on for way too long and were painfully unfunny. They also removed very silly titlecards that told you what day it was 🤨. The guy told him the theatrical cut of #Superman was better, but he still hated it. 😆 That's all. 🫲😑🫱
Update for those who care: My friend met his "source" again last week. They only briefly talked #Superman. This is what he was told: The earlier version he saw was MUCH worse than the theatrical cut. They cut out tons of jokes (some dirty jokes too) and annoying improv scenes.
Something interesting happened: I met a friend who knows someone who watched a screening of #Superman. He said the guy told him 1 thing: When Superman showed up in his suit, a lot of people in the audience laughed and giggled. People thought it was supposed to be a joke. 😬
