Christian education should begin (and end ? ) with a very thorough knowledge of Jesus Christ and our own personal loving close growing ongoing intimate relationship with Him forever.
The Catholic Church sexual abuse of minors and others is disgraceful. The coverups continue to be totally unacceptable and disgusting. It has lost all moral authority. In fact it has lost all authority.
Look far enough into the future to see a laicised Hierarchy. To see Christianity United. To see a church for and by the people. A Church that belongs to the people not outdated corrupt sexist hierarchy concerned with itself only.
The Catholic Church has failed Catholics and Christians. It has broken right away from society as a law unto itself. The Hierarchy looks after itself only. It is seriously sexist. Pedophilia is rampant . Coverups on a global scale amount to Catholic Church suicide.
George Pell had massive knowledge of Church sexual abuse around Australia and probably the whole world. He was dangerously close to becoming a Pope. That’s how low the Catholic Church has crashed. Pell protected only the Church with his lies bribery denials and threats.
Globally very many priests and religious vowed to celibacy and chastity are engaged in some form of sexual activity. There are at least 10,000 children from them.Some openly live with wives and kids. The Catholic Church has no control of this at all.
Jesus Christ struggles to maintain front and centre in the Catholic Church. Rather than being the sole focus as He should be He is lucky to get 20 % of attention. So many distractions have been introduced since the days of the Early Church. It is a massive insult to Him.
Our relationship with God must be based on love not fear.
Catholic Church Hierarchy and clergy are in moral meltdown. Disastrous. Time for major changes. The hypocrisy is laughable.
Jesus Christ is totally loving forgiving understanding and powerful and in control and absolutely good in the extreme. The rest follows accordingly. If that is not your Jesus you have the wrong one. New Testament New Covenant Jesus Christ. Love Him forever.
Jesus Christ is the heart of everything that is good and very good and excellent and very excellent and superbly perfect in every way. He continues to be severely misrepresented mainly by the large institutional churches which over 2000 years have become shamelessly humanised.
