I'm a huge fan of John Barry but this is an absolutely stunning version of the song.

When Lee Hazlewood heard the version of “You Only Live Twice” I recorded in London with John Barry, he said it was great but not very commercial. So, we went into the studio to re-record it with The Wrecking Crew for the single. This week, Hunter Lea explores the multitrack for…

A woman from a rural working-class family - one of 14 siblings, raised in social housing and shaped by left-wing values - wins a landslide in Ireland’s presidential election. Yet millionaire businessmen and women insist the “spoil the vote” campaign is the real victor. #Aras25

At least Maria Steen seems to have found her audience.....maybe not the audience she was hoping for 😂😂

Now that the election is done and dusted all these #spoilthevote patriots can go back to good old fashioned racism, bigotry and homophobia.

This is the face of the coward who assaulted a woman and threatened Mary Lou at around 4pm on North Strand Road, Dublin 1. More info on him would be much appreciated.

Are you big mad because you didn’t have the right to choose? Funny that.

Remember to set your clocks back one hour tonight, unless of course you wanted Maria Steen to be president, in that case set them back to 1952. #PresidentialElection #Aras25

That should read Nick Cave From Her To Eternity

Hi Richard My top 5 is 1 Dexys Midnight Runners Searching For The Young Soul Rebels 2 New Order Movement 3 Nick Cave Firstborn Is Dead 4 John Foxx Metamatic 5 Wah Nah=Poo- The Art Of Bluff #5debutalbums8084 One of the most enjoyable

Number 1 Searching for the young soul rebels...and he's still searching. A soul album that came in a roundabout way from punk while managing to sound completely unique. Arguably the greatest debut album ever. #5debutalbums8084

Number 2 I can remember the anticipation around this coming out. I can remember standing awestruck in my raincoat in the SFX watching them tour it. It was exactly the kind of record that a young Joy Division fan needed them to release. #5debutalbums8084

Number 3 It's probably his most inaccessible record but it's certainly one of his best. He interprets raw blues here as only he can. The Bad Seeds are excellent supplying sparse backing for effect while the bass keeps the beat. #5debutalbums8084

Number 4 Early 80s late 70s saw a huge resurgence in electronic music. I reckon Low got the ball rolling. This album was a game changer and stood apart. I think he played everything himself on synths he built himself. #5debutalbums8084

I'm going to do this early as I'm working later Number 5 The 3rd band from Liverpool that everyone forgets. A stunning underrated debut with a great production and a really atmospheric vibe to it. Didn't expect this to make my 5 to be honest. #5debutalbums8084

Number 6 Took a chance on this years ago because I wanted to get into a band that nobody else had heard of and they seemed a good bet. They were. First 3 albums are brilliant and I still listen to them. Hard to leave this one out. #5debutalbums8084
