So you want to know what's going on with climate change, but AR6 WGII is a whopping 3,675 pages. How do you read an #ipcc report? Five easy steps:

Practicing using dads old lens on my old Nikon, which only works using manual settings and (for me) a lot of luck 😅 #australianbirds #birdlife #wildoz #australianwildlife #westernaustralia

This is such a wholesome story and entertaining read. Hope this falls on the timeline of anyone and everyone working with biological collections.

Thinking about biological collections lately I'm reminded of the time that somehow at age 4, I got a personal tour of the @UCBerkeley entomology collection (Essig?) from a kind scientist (anybody know who?!). Asked my parents how on earth THAT happened, and it turns out...🤯

I just finished this book and it is easily my favourite read of the year, and likely next year too! Thank you @MondayStory

Only a few more weeks left of 2021's Great Australian #Platypus #Search where you can help collect eDNA samples as part of this citizen science mega event. There's 160 sites across Melbourne & VIC that still need to be sampled (you get sent an eDNA kit): thegreataustralianplatypussearch.org

It’s looking good for an extended Blue Mussel spawning season to get another week (or two?) of research collections 🤞🏻

Have you ever seen (or heard) a Lyrebird in the bush? Check out this fantastic footage from Darrilyn Goldsmith at her Lakes Entrance property in Vic, which captures their eclectic calls (make sure you have your sound on 🔊). #BacktoNatureAU Learn more: bit.ly/3ASZKsF

What do Tasmanian devils & elephant seals have in common? We can tell what they’ve been eating by examining their whiskers! For devils - onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10… For elephant seals - sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
