ronan came into my room this morning and asked me if i wanted to see how strong he is. i tell him of course i do. he proceeds to tell me to turn around and look at him. i obviously do and there he is, just casually standing there in his underwear, holding a whole watermelon 😂
today’s battle with ronan - he doesn’t want to wear black pants, he wants to wear dark black pants 🤦🏼♀️
my conversation with ronan before bed. “mom, i don’t like your brown shirt.” “oh, well it’s not brown, it’s gray.” “yeah, i still don’t like it. change it.”
on todays episode of “mom watch me”, ronan climbed up the back of the couch, stood on the top, and jumped down to the floor. then he said, “see, i’m spiderman”. 🤣🤦🏼♀️ like ya it was cool but dude, you are only two, fairly uncoordinated, and definitely shouldn’t be doing that.
the kids got shots today. they both screamed bloody murder, as expected. after zya got hers, ronan looked at her and said, “oh sister. you’re fine. no more whining.” JERK 🤣🤦🏼♀️
chris and i decided that if zya wakes up before 1am, he has to get up with her. if it’s after that, i’m on baby duty. the last three nights she has woken up at 1230am and then not again until 6am. i am winning 🤣

ronan is at such a fun but hard age. last night he woke up at 2am demanding we make pasta and play outside. i had to explain to him that neither of those things are 2am activities. he was just so sad and didn’t understand 😴
ronan chose a banana and yogurt over breakfast pizza. he can’t possibly be mine.
i’m in bed because i’m sick and i can hear my husband singing the moana soundtrack to our toddler 🥰 he really is the best dad.
the amount of people that i saw, knew, and had to talk to at costco, is the exact reason why i hate going there. i just want to shop in peace and gtfo.
chris has been helping our friend move all day but came home when i got off work and said, “i wanted to swing in to make dinner for you and ronan. we aren’t done yet but i’ll go back after we put ronan to bed.” my momma/wife heart is exploding. 🥰
chris tells me that i should get a babysitter on my day off and take the day to myself.. DUDE, why can’t you be the babysitter? 🤣🤦🏼♀️
chris got his hair cut yesterday and ronan didn’t recognize him for a good hour 😭🤣
when ronan wakes up in the middle of the night, which isn’t very often, i tell myself that he misses me and just wants a hug 🥰
i just got out of the shower and i can hear chris reading books to ronan 🥰 talk about heart melting.
