All these youth mobs in the city makes old-ass me feel concerned for the future. Yet when I was that age in the city, I felt it was just business as usual and kept my head on swivel. Interesting how time, age, and money changes one's outlook on life.

My older generation blue collar/service job relatives who got laid off over the last few years: Tech works got laid off recently with severance: 500-word self-aggrandizing, self-marketing word vomit blasted throughout their social media.

Haven’t logged on to twitter in while and see that everyone’s tweet now have a view counter. Gotta get users obsess with view counts if y’all want them to keep coming back. #productdesign

Been making my own cold brew coffee with crappy Folgers instead of paying $6/40oz at the grocery store. Best financial decision this year!

1. Clicks on the function to ignore insta-reels that uses a particular audio/song. 2. Instagram reels algorithm continues to show me videos with the audio/song I do not want to hear. 3. Contemplating learning quantum physics to transport me to a different multi-verse.

Ugh Adobe buys Figma for $20bill. Go away Adobe, stop trying to make fetch happen.

I'm not a fan of Youtube hiding the dislike button since it makes it harder to quickly judge a tutorial/advice video, but 2 million dislikes for a kid's movie trailer in 5 days is absurd and disingenuous. #MaybeThanosWasRight

With all these fantasy shows nowadays, I'm thinking there needs to be a rated-R show or movie about Drows (dark elves). Queues back to memories of my youth playing Godwars MUD on telnet.

Pretty useful on Mac OS — Just randomly found that I can copy text from a screenshot image.

It's 2022 and I still haven't seen what the Metaverse actually is (not gonna search Google Images). I see that people compare it to Second Life, which I actually know what that is and have interacted with it...back in 2008.

I had a PS2 when it came out, now I'm playing Gamecube games via emulator. At this rate, I'll catch up to PS4 games via emulator in 2035.

Thought I'd be slick and run through the final season of Attach on Titan after it all aired, only to find out there's another season to go. Considering I've read the manga, I'm not sure what they're thinking other than squeezing all the $$ out of it. There's not much story left.

- Use SketchApp for viz/ui design for a decade - Poke at Figma over the years 🥱 - Finally sees Figma's 'auto layout' feature 🤯 - Immediate converts new projects into Figma ⚒️ p.s. Still want advanced UI prototyping tools (e.g. JS-based).

Just waited Con Air (1997) for the first time and it was amazing. That makes me think, Con Air vs Predator (1987)—I mean the muscle mass alone...

Me when the volume and its controls is the same between my desktop Spotify and my iPhone (especially when I'm browsing Instagram). Serious someone fix that.

I'm pretty sure Twitter isn't trying to curb inaccurate information as I keep getting random tweet notifications on my phone from entities I do not follow—and they all are either parody accounts or just straight up randos spewing clickbait that sounds real

my fridge wide open: 🚨 SOUND THE ALARMS 🚨 my fridge opened so barely that I do not notice: No problems here🐁 At least give me a mute button (yeah I know that will add cost in production). #everythingisdesign

Randomly thinking about the Death Note intro song [OP2], something I haven't thought about in 10+ years. #IYKYK

Axure 10 is quite an improvement with the workflow of using dynamic panels and repeaters. Now if they can just improve the color picker

Idea: a way for parents to curate the Youtube algorithm for their toddler. That way you control the topics they flip through. E.g. Recommend only videos related to kids gardening. Next week, recommend only videos around eating vegetables.
