OU with one for the ages. Pulisic scoring an 87’ winner. What an absolutely great sports day.

Today – of all days – I unknowingly stumbled into the Margaritaville episode of Jury Duty.

Simply nothing like being first into a neighborhood coffee shop – especially on a rainy morning, before the music even starts. But then… the crackle of vinyl over the analogue sound system. The first few bars of The Rolling Stones’ “Miss You.” Are you kidding me?!

Get my boy Pulisic out of the Chelsea car crash as soon as possible. What an exhausting club this is.

For Messi. The greatest to ever do it.

To think… we did all this in kits pulled from the bottom of an after-Christmas $2 Walmart bargain bin. Impressive, really. #USMNT

Up. Showered. Dressed. Ready to roll like a bowling ball of butcher knives through a tulip-loving team who inexplicably spell “orange” with a J. Let’s do this, boys. #USMNT #USAvNED

Days like today are why I’m grateful I’m not a professional athlete (was never in doubt), but feel utterly paralyzed as just a fan. Regardless, let’s do this boys. This is why you play the game. SHOW THEM WHO YOU ARE. #USMNT

I’m an honorary rocket surgeon.

Pulisic on the left wing. Even the photographer gets it. Not that hard.

GOALLL! Christian Pulisic dinks home to put Chelsea 2-0 up against Wolves. The #USMNT star has been excellent today and has had several chances to score. He has a huge smile on his face. #CFC 2-0 #Wolves #CHEWOL

Thank you Ma’am, for everything.

With the Queen's passing, can't help but think about losing an incredible "history bridge," (@jkottke's term) "living persons bridging distant historical periods." What an incredible period of human history she spans and represents. 15 PMs. Unreal. kottke.org/12/01/human-wo…

At the end of last week’s post about John Tyler’s grandsons still being alive (and indeed, NY Mag did an interview with one of them), I provided a couple of oth

Gonna re-up this for no reason whatsoever.

Christian Pulisic to Leeds, why not? (I know, I know. Just want the dude to have a consistent run of games.)
