meet Duolingo’s newest rival. now on Apple Store.

elevator pitch week 1 at @_TheResidency search "Prendi English" on Apple Store.

🚀I just launched Prendi. try, break it and dm me. Efficiency above all. I built new learning format. Complete a course and let me know if you like how it’s taught. Curious to hear if it works for you (or why not). Zero AI, pure engineering with efficient algorithms.

gave @claudeai a challenge. it built and made it work beautifully. I looked at every piece of code [It'd cost me at least $100K in back-end operations for 1K users]. Imagine ... Imagine non-technical people. they'd never know until they receive $100K bill.

Solo > headcount. Shipping > meetings. I'm in on the mission: nocap.so/solo @nocap_so

Duolingo competitor. Meet Prendi v0.1 I took me 3 months ~ 3-4hrs sleep a day to get this done. This is only 1% of what I want to build. Lots of new updates coming. I want to build on top of feedback from users. I believe together we can make it #1 to learn any language.

don't judge. it's his definition of "engineer"

what helps u stay productive? what works for me is: 1st -> limit information I consume. 2nd -> don’t jump into execution until it’s clearly solved on paper first. What works for you?

what's ur approach to solve complex problems? 1st: clear problem and straight coding (maybe will work at first) but is that the most efficient solution? 2nd: start by questioning everything. look at the problem from multiple angle, solve in paper -> code it. I love the 2nd.

met @ycombinator general partner @t_blom besides from hearing his inspiring story, I had the chance to ask&hear his vision on the future of language learning. I'm building better Duolingo alternative for B2B and #1 to learn from is Tom.

you don't join @Harvard to be the best. you already are by receiving the acceptance letter. takeaway: focus on becoming the best and the opportunity will come to you. not the other way around.

which path you'd choose? path 1: mvp build -> launch -> get clients -> can't scale (need re-build) -> lose clients -> launch again? path 2: solid architecture mvp build (easily scalable but take few more time) -> launch -> get clients -> scale -> get more clients ...

you can tell how intelligent someone is by its questions. person 1 ask: what can I get from it? person 2 ask: how much is it? person 1 is looking value it brings. person 2 is looking at the cost before anything. which one is more intelligent?

you trying to solve a hard problem since morning. the answer comes only at midnight lol coding not for everyone.

you prefer spending $100 on a flight ticket to Spain or $100 on @claudeai pro max ?

the solution itself is easy. but the path till you get to the solution it's hard. what's biggest problem you've faced and how did you overcome it?
