I think the words "This is not an editorial statement. This is just true" might be key for working journalists to include on social media in this disturbing era of "alternative facts," especially in newsrooms where any deviation from a "just-the-facts-ma'am' approach is suspect.
The President is saying NASCAR made a mistake by banning the confederate flag. His language encourages people to fly the flag that represents the losing side of the Civil War, the side that wanted to keep enslaving people. This is not an editorial statement. This is just true.

Sindia Salazar-Ortiz said her brother, Jose, is “devastated” by the death of the 3-year-old girl. His wife and her aunt are also charged.
