Mountains. Medical setbacks. Hospital visits. Europe. Friends. Growth. It was all part of the process, and I’m better because of it.
Every day is a gift, even the hard ones. Living with a fused vertebrae means travel isn’t always easy, but it’s still just as fun!
My parents were once told I'd be illiterate for life. But with faith, determination, and a teacher who believed in me, I learned to read. It was slow, hard, and filled with moments I wanted to quit, but every step forward built the grit I carry with me today.
In No Bad Days, I wrote an entire chapter on the power of sharing your story. When you open up about your pain, your journey, your healing, you create space for someone else to do the same. That’s how we build community. That’s how we make healing contagious. #NoBadDays
This summer was a mix of challenge and grace. The Broken Arrow Skyrace tested my legs. Traveling Europe filled me with joy. Every moment added to growth. Grateful for the friends who adventured with me and a God who never quits on me. Let’s keep climbing this fall! #NoBadDays
A few weeks ago, canceling this year’s paddle board challenge crushed me. Recently, I was told I will not need surgery and I was filled with gratitude. Still some pain, still a journey ahead, but no operating room. Just more healing, one step at a time.
Living with VATER syndrome means adapting constantly, but thanks to this treatment, I don’t just survive. I thrive. I can do this treatment from home or while climbing a mountain on the other side of the world. That’s something I don’t take for granted!
Life is an adventure. Even when it’s hard. Even when the path feels uncertain. Every obstacle I’ve faced has led me closer to who God created me to be. Don’t wait for life to happen. Go live it!!

Climbing Kilimanjaro changed everything. I learned that the limits I saw were never really there, they were just fear in disguise. When you take that first step in faith, you can rise above what you once thought was impossible! #NoBadDays
