Ehh. The right ones will give you 20-40hrs of human work and not get in the way. Unused portions of good templates shouldn’t feel like bloat. But I’m thinking about @jumpstartrails where you literally get EVERYTHING including billing, out of the box
The more constraints specified in the Claude.md file, the better. Use a template like @jumpstartrails and give CC the URL to the documentation.
Using @jumpstartrails (and Rails in general) to build @LorelightAI is one of the best decisions I have made. Makes everything 10 times faster to build. Especially when combined with Zed and Claude.
man, Rails is the GOAT at this. there's nothing on this list that's not - built into rails - provided via popular well maintained Just Works™ open source gem @jumpstartrails helps you get 95% of this plus other common SaaS features like teams Also... chatgpt.com/share/67e4ad33…
My vote goes for Ruby on Rails with @jumpstartrails. It has almost everything and is super easy to use.
Android Hotwire Native with @jumpstartrails video course is almost done. 👌 This will walk you through everything you need to know to be productive with Hotwire Native Android with the Jumpstart Pro Android template: jumpstartrails.com/android

Just use Rails, Postgres, Devise, Hotwire, and push to @flydotio or @render . Add in @jumpstartrails or @bullettrainco and you've got a SaaS that just needs your business logic in about a half hour or less.
Coming back to web dev after a 5-year break is crazy. JUST CRAZY🫠🫠🫠 I thought it'd become easier over years. No, IT"S THE OPPOSITE!!! 1) Choose backend (is there really an alternative to NextJS?) 2) Hosting: pawn mom's ring and host on Vercel?? 3) Or be a cool kid and do…
Just added referrals to @jumpstartrails apps! You can build your own custom affiliate program and track referrals and conversions with a click of a button. Reward your affiliates with in-app credit or whatever you want! Grab your license at jumpstartrails.com

I’m using @jumpstartrails so all the team management features were already built. Just added a teacher dashboard to monitor students progress.
Excited to have Strada support in Jumpstart Pro Android now! You can customize pages easily to add native controls and modify the page accordingly.
Happy to announce that @jumpstartrails Android now supports Strada out of the box. It's wired up and ready for you to start making web<->native integrations easily. Just merged this AM. Enjoy. jumpstartrails.com/android

I've been integrating Strada into @jumpstartrails Android lately in the AM. Since the Android app uses Compose for its AppBar and not an XML Toolbar, it requires some creative inversion techniques to get this to work. Once I formalize it I'll blog and video about it.
Detekt is now configured and supported out of the box for @jumpstartrails Android - jumpstartrails.com/android Detekt will be run on every CI build. Detekt can be configured with the pre-packaged detekt.yml file to suit your needs. Here's to cleaner code. 🚀
People asking in DMs how we have built @inlineHelp. @LangChainAI with Langchain.rb from @rushing_andrei @jumpstartrails by @excid3 allowed us to build the entire backend in a very short period #ror @vuejs for the client side widget @apify to be able to scrape customers'…
We are live with @inlineHelp on Product Hunt today! 🥳 If you believe that chatbots do not represent the pinnacle of in-app customer support and that AI can be better utilized in other areas, your support is greatly appreciated. 🔥 producthunt.com/posts/inline-h…
I love how much work I get to skip over when using @jumpstartrails. All the benefits of rails productivity with a bunch more batteries included. Just upgraded from a single-site license to multi-site so that I can build a bunch of these experiments this year. Thanks @excid3…

Today's adventures in hotwire -> a svg spinner while waiting for my OpenAi API response. This one is easy! All I had to do was enable/disable the button in my stimulus controller which is making a fetch request to my OpenAi endpoint. My html has a .when-enabled and…
Upgrading the @jumpstartrails Android template to the latest version of Android Kotlin and Compose Compiler. 💥

🎉 @jumpstartrails now supports @Paddle Billing and Classic. Accept credit cards & PayPal payments plus sales tax. Our iOS template now has Strada built-in and Android will shortly. Get $50+ off during our Black Friday sale. jumpstartrails.com
@jumpstartrails is the RoR version of shipfast, the initial cost is higher but the community part is free. And actually, you can access their community without being a customer. I think this builds confidence for non-customers. That’s part of what got me to buy it actually…
Just wrapped up two weeks of learning Ruby on Rails, and thanks to my awesome colleague @onerinas, I am able to launch a new side project this week. RoR is going to be my go-to backend with Vue for side projects from now on! Huge shoutout to @jumpstartrails for simplifying my dx.
