getting AI to stir the pile of data
all data scientists need to do this. Just take a cross section of data and just look at it. Manually. Will give you far better insights on what to do than any metric (especially true for machine learning, IMHO. but applies to all partes of data science)
One of the things that seems like a huge distraction but has helped give me a pulse on the X userbase: I sit down with 2-5 users per day and go over their timeline and how they use X. And I try to do it with the most diverse set of users: moms, heads of state, scientists,…
