I can empathise with the naive kids who think they’ve just lost rights, but these TikTokers’ fake live reactions to the Supreme Court judgement, complete with quick glances to camera to check their crocodile tears are being captured, do make it difficult.

Rape does not ruin your whole life. It is a single, brief event, possibly only lasting minutes. Society grossly exaggerates how had rape is because it's the only crime that focuses on women. If you asked people if they'd rather get raped or life destroyed, they'd pick rape.
I think we all remember Mr Khan clearly expressing his outrage when a man stood on a platform in central London and told a cheering crowd that if they see a woman who disagrees with them, they should "punch em in the fucking face". You did do that, right, Mr Khan?
The epidemic of violence against women and girls must end. We need a big, societal shift away from the misogynistic attitudes of the past and towards true equality. I've said it before - it’s the responsibility of men to solve this. Women need us to step up.
