In games when IU isn’t making threes, you need someone who can create on their own. It’s like the opposite of what has been going on the past couple of years when opponents would just pack the paint. #IUBB
It will take time for all of this to come together. The first couple of games showed what is possible. The past two have shown the growing pains. #IUBB
You’ll have up-and-down shooting nights, and IU has missed some bunnies. But you need a consistent, take-over-the-game dog who can go to the rim and get a bucket when you need one, and one isn’t emerging early in the season. #IUBB
Here’s what has become a concern for me with this #IUBB team. There is a lack of overall athleticism and quickness, and nobody can consistently create his own offense off the bounce. We saw flashes from Wilkerson earlier this year, but it hasn’t been consistent.
Hoosiers doubling-up Lindenwood 34-18 in the first half. No idea about stats since there is an issue with the stat program tonight. #IUBB
One of my early returns on Reed Bailey so far is he has a tough time holding onto the ball and just needs to get stronger. #IUBB
I couldn’t guard Tayton Conerway. At all. It would be like me backing down Charlie the Intern in the Basement Basketball League. No contest. #IUBB
I’m entertained by IU fans on twitter complaining about a team that has played five games together playing like a team that has played only five games together. #IUBB
Given the 6 p.m. tip-off time on a Thursday vs. Lindenwood, attendance at this game is going to look like an April White Sox game when we start. #IUBB
Tonight the Hoosiers take on Lindenwood. Lindenwood has lost to Alabama A&M and Charleston Southern already this year. Look for my twitter feed to be a stream-of-consciousness dump in the second half. #IUBB
