Had a brainwave today about gravity effects for Thwimbly. Decided to try and code it this evening. No graphic polish yet, but it's getting there! It even works with arrays of multiple gravity tiles next to each other, leading to chaos! #tic80 #platformer #indiedev #gamedev


Today's experiment: Procedural trees to go with the procedural clouds! Also a sneak peek at the temp title screen with the name! Thwimbly! I still need to tweak the colors and make an actually good tree bark texture, but it's getting there. #res64 #tic80 #indiedev


Currently attempting to make some dubsteppy chiptunes in #TIC80. Was originally aiming for some Color Bass-type sounds, but it's a bit more reminiscent of the early 2010s type sound. Might be part of the soundtrack for the platformer, but might just end up being a lil experiment

Found out that my implementation of coyote time allows for bounce cancelling, which lets you do crazy stuff like this. #TIC80 #indiedev #gamedev #platformer


Oh sick! I went here a bunch over the summer, it's a really awesome pinball/arcade museum in this super small town. The pinball machines per capita here is probably the highest in the world.


Decided to show off two new features in the Platformer I'm working on in #tic80 - Signs that show messages, and walkin' bouncebois. (also some new graphics!) Still a long ways to go, but things are moving along! #gamedev #indiedev
