The last time Donald Trump was in Vegas (January 2025), he pulled a crowd of 2,000. When Bernie was running for president in 2019, our biggest Vegas crowd was 2,200. Today, more than 3,200 people turned out to hear @BernieSanders and @AOC.
Join me, @AOC, and @StevenHorsford LIVE from our town hall in Las Vegas, as we discuss how to stop Trump's moves toward oligarchy, and instead build an economy that works for all of us, not just the top 1%
He literally canceled AIDS medicine and anti-starvation nutrition packets for the world’s poorest.
Netanyahu has blocked aid to Gaza for two weeks. Last night, he ordered strikes that killed over 400 Palestinians, endangered hostages, and broke a fragile ceasefire. Congress must uphold our laws and stop further weapons transfers to Israel.
BREAKING: Palestinian deaths from Israeli airstrikes in Gaza rise to 413, and the dead include women and children, hospital officials say. Follow AP's live coverage. apnews.com/live/latest-up…
For 2028 I am hoping to see an AOC & Bernie ticket. As soon as primary time rolls around, they announce together with Sanders as veep.
NEW YORK — Zohran Mamdani, socialist Democrat running for NYC mayor, backs government-run supermarkets.
This week, I am headed to Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado with @AOC, @GregCasar, and @StevenHorsford to hold town halls with working class Americans. Together, we will stand strong in the struggle against authoritarianism and oligarchy. I hope you'll join us.
If Elon Musk is prepared to arbitrarily fire workers at the federal government, what do you think will happen to workers in the private sector when artificial intelligence takes hold? Forget it. You're gone. Out on the streets. We cannot allow that to happen.
Still no. In fact, the same Dems who argue to keep the filibuster “for when we need it” do not, in fact, use it when we need it. It’s only used to block Dem policies. Never to block harmful GOP ones. Could have proved us wrong. Instead they proved the point.

🚨 Holy crap. The DOJ is arguing that the President can unilaterally deport anyone he wants without ANY statutory authority, just on his inherent authority as President over national security. That is a terrifying claim to make and has never been recognized before in US history.
NEWS: DOJ asks the D.C. Circuit to "halt" the district court in response to the TRO blocking the Trump administration from immediately deporting 5 men without any process. DOJ asks for an "immediate administrative stay" allowing the deportations. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
Trump, Musk, and the rest of the GOP want to cut programs our friends, families, and neighbors rely on – they want to use our government to make the rich even richer. We deserve more Working Families Party leaders like @maxwellfrostfl who refuse to roll over and let them.
Florida is one of just 10 states refusing to expand Medicaid—turning away federal dollars while millions struggle to access the care they need. Meanwhile, Trump and House Republicans say they aren’t touching Medicaid but are pushing budget cuts that threaten it. The math ain’t…
I don’t remember voting for any of the President’s cabinet.
I don’t remember voting for any federal judges last November.
A depressing indicator of an economy that is failing working people.
DoorDash and Klarna have signed a deal where customers can choose to pay for food deliveries in interest-free installments or deferred options aligned with payday schedules.
The terrible CR Budget bill — written by right-wing House Republicans with no input from anybody but themselves — was passed tonight with the support of 10 Democrats. An absolute failure of Democratic leadership. NOBODY in the Senate should have voted for this dangerous bill.
We have a health care crisis in this country. Americans are dying because they can't afford to see a doctor. We agreed on BIPARTISAN legislation to improve health care in America. And one Republican kills the bill. The American people are watching.
STRESS KILLS. 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, struggling every day to keep their families going. The result: working class people die 7 years earlier than the rich. We need an economy that works for all, not just the few.
