I was 14 years old when I saw this @RonaldReagan speech—45 years ago today. His positive vision captured my imagination. I was basically Alex Keaton from Family Ties. My Democrat parents were kinda' horrified. :-) Eventually, I volunteered on Reagan's second campaign. (The…

45 years ago today, Ronald Reagan announced he was running for president—launching a campaign rooted in optimism, strength, and his enduring vision of America as a “shining city on a hill.”

Tariffs do not cause price increases, but exempting items from tariffs will reduce their prices. It is magic.

BREAKING: Trump is preparing broad exemptions to certain tariffs in an effort to ease elevated food prices, per Reuters

“Tariffing things we can’t even physically grow will just increase prices” “Shut up you RINO!” (Six months later) “We are going to lower tariffs on things we can’t even physically grow so prices decrease.”

Melissa brilliantly uses satire to expose what's really going on. I've met so many people who watch Candace like they are watching a soap opera or a who done it movie. Yet all these suspicions and insinuations given without evidence put people's actual lives in danger. Both Frank…

Lot of silliness floating around about the Bible and Nicaea. Unfortunately @RealAdamAllred repeats a lot of that here. But I think we should all take Adam’s advice when he says that we should “be honest with ourselves and start listening to the truth that is behind it, and if you…

More comments on this tomorrow. But again thankful for Jean Twenge, someone no one would confuse with being a culture warrior or right-wing ideologue, drawing attention to what sane people knew all along, and that this was social contagion by any normal standard of the term.

If you keep calling for union on the basis we should turn a blind eye to the laundering of people who think Hitler was "a very cool guy" as just part of the conversation, it'll be kinda hard to avoid the WW2 metaphors. Sorry.

I am absolutely begging everyone to figure out how to draw historical analogies that aren’t about WW2. I swear other events have occurred in history. It’s true. Look it up.

SCOTUS has an opportunity to save Trump from his erratic tariff policy. It's be interesting to see it play out.

I'm sad that it fell on Shapiro to do this, since much of the conservative commentariat is still shaking in their boots in fear of Tucker, but man, he hit it out of the park here. Must watch, and must share with everyone you know.

No to the groypers. No to cowards like Tucker Carlson, who normalize their trash. No to those who champion them.  No to demoralization. No to bigotry and anti-meritocratic horseshit. No to anti-Americanism. No.

The problem is we all saw Tucker grill @tedcruz. We know he is capable of asking tough questions. He chose to bring on a antisemite denier of the Holocaust, having previously brought on a Hitler apologist, and asked softball questions. There’s a problem.

There has been speculation that @Heritage is distancing itself from @TuckerCarlson over the past 24 hours. I want to put that to rest right now—here are my thoughts:

“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our…
