Success takes time. The bigger your goal, the longer it takes. So celebrate the small wins.. whatever it may be for you. Because if you don't, you are not gonna sustain the process. You're only human after all.
Look at world-class athletes. They're almost always perfectionists. They refuse to settle for anything lesser. They keep perfecting their craft. BUT They understand they can't get there 100% And neither can you. As long as you understand this it's okay to be a perfectionist.
It’s hard to stay depressed when you have a bigger purpose. Set goals so big that no problem can ever halt you into inaction.
If you are in your 20s do the following— • Quit drugs & alcohol • Cut off your loser friends • Read books and blog posts • Pick one skill and master it • Learn human psychology • Stop going to weekend parties Your 30s will be just the beginning.
Money is an unlimited resource. You know what isn’t? TIME.
It’s better to learn fast than to win fast.
Every day you wait, your success is postponed by a day. Make today count.
Never giving up doesn’t mean you stick to your old ideas and your old plans. It means you are persistent enough to find a way to succeed.
Business is a game. But unlike most games you can make your own rules in this game. That’s what makes it the best game to play. And if you’re on this side of Twitter, you’re playing the SAME game.
Got no skills? Pick one. And spend the next 12 months learning it. Until then… You have NO business here on Twitter.
They say real work happens when you’re not at your desk. Here I am… Brought my wife out for shopping. And I can’t stop thinking about POSITIONING 😆
The goal is to get better with every tweet. That’s it. Forget likes and followers.
Reminder to tweet something of value.. ..and risk sounding like an idiot. You better be an idiot this year than for the rest of your life.
Some days I just can’t stop tweeting. Other days I’m thirsty for ideas. Reminder to capture ideas when they pop up.
“Stop being a perfectionist” Here’s a better solution: Be a perfectionist IN PUBLIC.
Any advice given in the wrong context becomes bad advice.
Who cares if you get likes bruh? Just say what you want to say. But strive to say it slightly better each time. It’s all about getting better in the process.
Want to become world class at something? OBSESS over it. Obsessively read, learn and practice the craft. Work-life balance won't get you there.
You’re doing it wrong if you’re meeting all your deadlines. Do this instead— Set SHORTER deadlines. You will fail to meet them. But you will get things done much quicker.
The best form of personal development? Growing a business. You DON’T necessarily have to START one. Find someone who does something cool. Help them grow their business. You’ll also be making a ton of money along the way.
How not to run out of tweet ideas: Pick ONE idea. And then commentate on it. Resist the temptation to talk about 13 different ideas in a single tweet.
