Holy shit. He told Bannon he looks like Yoda with legs. 😳

HOLY MOLY: Who's the guy who just crashed and embarrassed Steve Bannon at his press conference right now? I want to buy him a beer.

Over 200,000 people have done what they could, cancelling WaPo, to tell JB to GTH.

When the Post loses David Hoffman, it loses a lot. Probably much more than Bezos understands.

100K cancellations between now and the election? 10x that? Same goes for Patrick Soon-Shiong and the LA Times. Oligarch-controlled news media *really sucks*.

HONOR: The editor of the Los Angeles Times opinion section resigned from her post after the newspaper’s billionaire owner, Soon-Shiong, prevented the editorial board from endorsing a candidate, namely Harris, for president.

NYT tweeted this to its 55 million followers and it has under 500 retweets - presumably suppressed due to the link out. “John Kelly, Donald Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, said Trump met the definition of a fascist and would try to govern like a dictator if elected”

As of 2022, the US per person GDP is $64,600. In Russia, it's $27,500. Let's not let them turn us into Russia!

Who said their primary intended use case requires high reliability or safety, once deployed?

The last part of this – “Maybe even in a year we have a single multimodal model that can do reasoning and planning and power a robot" – is wildly unrealistic (assuming you want the robot to be safe and reliable).

This.

1/ Hi @Oprah . This event will be the first time many people will get info on Generative Ai. However it is shaping up to be a misinformed marketing event staring vested interests (some who are under a litany of lawsuits) who ignore the harms GenAi inflicts on communities NOW 🧵

Russian oligarchs, from Putin’s inner circle funding Musk’s takeover of Twitter, needs maximum scrutiny. Twitter has since spiraled into a cesspool of disinformation. Seems like a classic active measure, co-opting media to propagate disinfo. Why isn’t CFIUS involved @USTreasury

Yes, but who is appropriating all that value? Hint: it ain't the workers. In the olden days, slavery was infinitely "productive" (modulo food) and it produced a huge amount of "value," but obviously not for the slaves. One needs to make a somewhat more nuanced argument here.

Economist who study the effect of technological revolutions on the labor market, like @erikbryn, keep reminding us that technology makes workers more productive, and hence *increase* their value and the value of their labor.

The one thing he's really good at is getting free attention from the media. He'll actually *never* do this. It's just a diversion. If he did he'd be deposed. That ain't gonna happen. The media will bite off because they care about click counts. Sad state of affairs.

He's not campaigning. He's holed up in Mar a Lago with his neo-monarchist friends, planning out the overthrow. His friends are the likes of Peter Thiel, who bought J.V. Dunce and inserted him onto Trump's ticket as the "smart" Manchurian Candidate. Thiel's not hiding it.

Based on this sane, rational, fact-based statement, do you think there's any chance if he loses on 11/5 he'll claim it was a "RIGGED ELECTION"? A) Absolutely NOT B) 💯% #DementiaDonOld 🤯

He's the Neo-Monarchist "brain" behind a whole flock of anti-democratic billionaire Tech Bros: Thiel, Musk, etc. Listen to Thiel's recent interviews. Theil bought J.V. Dunce," as a Manchurian Candidate. Do not underestimate their ilk. They are determined and heavily armed.

Curtis Yarvin, whose writings have inspired JD Vance, tells Charlie Kirk that the United States must: 1. End checks and balances. 2. Put POTUS entirely in charge of governing the United States.
