Using robotics to build houses, pick up trash, and respond to disasters. Join us in making a difference.
for tomorrow; - apply to @fdotinc - gather user stories from those using pre-alpha - fully implement web simulation environment - research RobotOS integration
todays small dream; 'talk to a robot' allowing a user to interact directly with an LLM contextualized on a models datasheet and our interoperability reports so that users can determine the likelihood a particular model will be able to do the task they want it to.
do we gamble on vc funding and just start accepting request for cleanups/builds in february? we currently only have 3 robots in our fleet
What comes first; I lose my streak or preseed? Holding on by a thread so far
Holy... You're telling me Gemini 3 made this? Which would take a human UI/UX and frontend engineer weeks of work…
FoodforThought is getting better than cool. it’s getting useful.
the big 'if' for tomorrow is 'can we do a 3d sandbox and render robot simulation in browser?'
life update: O1 visa approved to work on storytelling and technology in san francisco my first project was helping @physical_int translate their long-horizon RL research to film we pulled this together in a week, in no small part because of the unlimited robot espresso
Our model can now learn from its own experience with RL! Our new π*0.6 model can more than double throughput over a base model trained without RL, and can perform real-world tasks: making espresso drinks, folding diverse laundry, and assembling boxes. More in the thread below.
once interoperability reports are done we'll empower users to not only know the best model for them but how likely it is to do what they want without additional training @ycombinator @a16z @PanacheVC @RadhaniteVC @fcollective one bazillion dollars pls?
a designer recommended we put our 'robo-designer thingy' on the landing page. it doesn't belong there but conversion instantly 3x'd
now we just have to figure out how to generate interoperability reports, i.e. can this robot actually do anything?
