Placed 5th at 2XKO for Re:Install. My goal was top8, which was very ambitious considering this is my first tag fighter, so very happy and surprised with the results. I think this is the first time I make top8 in a major Finnish tourney. Somewhat ironic that it wasn't Guilty Gear
There's something funny about me looking up the dictionary definition of sycophant, prompting me to look up the definition of obsequious, and finally needing the definition of servile. Although unsure if the funny part was the confusion chain, or me simply not knowing English.

So I've been grinding 2XKO for a bit, and hit grand masters the other day playing Vi/Illaoi. Oh boy, did the environment change suddenly. Majority of the players are now playing some variation of Ekko, Ahri, Teemo and Yasuo. Every play session makes me genuinely wanna cry.
I wonder if FT5 in 2XKO would somewhat correspond to FT7 in Strive in terms of set duration. The games are very long in 2XKO, and would be nice to hit that 20min average set length for a show-match event that lasts up to 3 hours. Yes, I'm considering.

I'm really confused when NL's takes are leading to the numpad notation discourse. It has nothing to do with that, does it? We're talking about the on-boarding of new players, many of which are not ready to adapt the lingo of the scene immediately.
I was reminiscing and watching my old Xrd clips, and brother, I used to do all sorts of nutty, wacky, absolute madness entertaining things on Sin. On Strive I ain't doing jack. What happened to Guilty Gear? What happened to ME?
I haven't been able to play much since I'm unwell, and had to spend several days trying to figure out how to make TE2+ function with the game, but it almost feels like 2XKO has that ye olde fighting game spark? For the first time since Xrd, could this be the one?
