This is where feature engineering plays a crucial role, you use some of the excess column/data to get more useful columns by transforming them into features that better represent the underlying problem to predictive models, often by creating new, more informative columns.
Journal and track everything. - habits, - your direct income flows, - your weekly/monthly/annual spends, - debt balance, - recurring payments, - networth. Once it is penned down, you assume clarity - you think differently. Young man, this is the secret.
