with all the demon's souls discourse today, I felt it was a good idea to show the OG game running on rpcs3 at 1440p. but no visual mods or reshade effects active. I think it's aged quite well tbh.
core problem here is it's all how you define "better" and if you mean on a technical level, yes, the remake looks better. No shit. From an art direction standpoint, that's vastly different. And I will always prefer Fromsoft's art direction to Bluepoint's. it's a matter of taste.
The remake is inferior in nearly every regard and nearly every decision made by BluePoint made is vastly inferior to the original game You guys have no concept of what a unique and delibirate artistic design is and it shows
Demon's Souls Remake Is superior to the OG game in every way possible. The game looks, feels and plays(like the omidirectional dodging) BETTER. Saying they "butchered it" , doesnt give you some wise veteran status, it makes you look like a stubborn child.
I thought the Demon's Souls remake by Bluepoint was good 🤷♂️
