I FINALLY got to drink my 1997 Lamborn Zin, which was also the first vintage made by Heidi Barrett! I have had over 700 Zins and this bested all of them as it was so velvety smooth and still full of life. Feel badly for my host as his wines paled in comparison. Cheers🍷

Served this at a dinner party for friends who are Cab drinkers and they were blown away that a Zin could taste like this. The Lamborn’s are a great family making great wine for a reasonable price so check them out over the holidays. #cheers🍷

I don’t do a lot of Zins. But, I’m partial to Howell Mountain Zins. Outpost, Lamborn, Dark Matter and Black Sears are a few that are worth a look. @OutpostWines @lamborn @MondaviSisters
I only have a couple 3L Zins and I am dying to try this 1997 @Lamborn since it was the first year Heidi Barrett made it for them. You need a lot of Zin lovers to open these. #cheers🍷
