Young people frequently come to live and work at L'Arche Cape Breton in the role of House Assistants, giving them the opportunity to discover Cape Breton, learn about issues relating to disability, gain practical skills related to care-giving, and to form meaningful relationships
Congrats to @larchecb, under the direction of Mukthar Limpao, on being nominated for a Vital Employer Nomination! L'arche was created with the goal of highlighting the gifts of people with developmental disabilities, and that they have so much to contribute to our communities.

Wayne Sangster from Nova Scotia Power came by L'Arche Cape Breton today to donate some used lumber from a temporary structure they had to take down. We'll use it for crafts, frames, adaptive structures, and outdoor projects. Thank you to everyone at NSP for thinking of us!
