The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.
"لو لم أكن ملكاً، لكنتُ معلماً". -الملك فيصل بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود -رحمه الله-. #يوم_المعلم
An old book that I bought, but didn’t read caught my attention yesterday. It’s called “Who Moved my Cheese?”. Although it is very short, but I believe it, metaphorically speaking, will move my perception of change to a different level.
A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf
I am not a feminist, but this kind of question always hits me harder :(
Regardless of the subject, the brutality in Woolf’s description blew my mind and compelled me to read it more than once! Her essay, unlike the others, truly got me this time! I am impressed! #VirginiaWoolf #ReadingThoughts
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. I remember that I couldn’t even eat properly, as my eyes were stuck between the pages. The ending was something else. I highly recommend this piece of art. ⛰️🏠
What's the most recent book that made you miss your bedtime? 😅
Goethe speaks about the adversity that original writers face:
Only visual thinkers like me will understand the depth of this line.
What a busy day! But that will not prevent me from reading a little 🌌
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book!
Indeed, it is not only about writing، but about structuring your writing.
Sometimes I'll read somebody's writing and think to myself "wow, I'd pay an infinite amount of money to be able to write like that" only to realize that to write like that you have to think like that, and to think like that you have to live like that
If he loved you with all the power of his soul for a whole lifetime, he couldn’t love you as much as I do in a single day. -Heathcliff Wuthering Heights
This is one of the books that I wish I could erase from my mind and read over and over again 😔!
"There are two medicines for all ills: time and silence." - The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas
